Mr. Tom Franklin, Jr., currently serves as the Executive Director for the Native American Grant School Association. Tom first became involved with NAGSA as a Board Member from Shonto Preparatory Schools. (January 2018- January 2023), six years representing the SPS which is a grant school, while being a board member, he also served as:

• Native American Grant School Association Conference Committee

• Secretary for the Dine Grant Schools Association

• Executive Board for the Dine Bi Olta School Board Association 

He also serves his home community of Kaibeto as the Chapter President.
